Rogue Squadron Theory
The new release of Rogue one left Star Wars fans amazed with the story of rebels invading Imperial archives to find how to destroy the death star, But we also noticed the interesting title which had a familiar reference in Empire Strikes Back. It was said by Zev Senesca who's code name is Rogue Two leading me to believe there is a whole snow speeder squadron named The Rogue Squadron. This could be in memory of Rogue One's success delivering the Death Star plans to the rebellion.
Never thought if that before, actually believe there was a series of games (played them on my pc when I was a lot younger) and books that referenced rogue squadron, although that was more x-wing based and think Luke was the leader so maybe it is more tied to the pilots.
